During the earthquakes in Indonesia in 2018, which took the lives of over 2000 people, Álvaro Cuadrado, CEO of Square Ventures, was at the epicenter of the catastrophe in Lombok, where he created a humanitarian aid project to help the stricken families who were victims. He saw first-hand the ravages and desolation of not having access to water.

After returning to Europe, we got to work, researching how to condense water vapor from air, filtering it and adding mineral salts, with the aim of generating drinking water where none existed before. Bluemont then places its technology at the service of transforming the world.
